MATT WRIGHT BA (Hons) MCIPR
Wright Public Affairs is run by Matt Wright. He has 30 years industry experience in new product development, business consultancy, stakeholder liaison, political campaigning and public affairs. Matt started in R&D and moved into business and technology consultancy at Enterprise Plc and QinetiQ working with the CEOs of SMEs through to major Blue Chips in sectors such as chemicals, aerospace, environmental and medical.

Matt has spent the last 12 years at local and national government level building partnerships and running political and communications campaigns and developing excellent contacts in Westminster, in Cardiff and in county councils in North Wales. He worked for the Conservative Party as a Campaign Manager and for Dr James Davies MP who is on the Health Select Committee. He has dealt with research, briefing, stakeholder liaison, events, press, questions in parliament, speeches and social media.
He has covered all aspects of campaigning from budgets to strategy, planning and messaging, press, events, literature, management of volunteer teams and regulatory compliance. Matt has been a Cabinet level County Councillor and introduced an Enterprise Zone for Flintshire in North Wales. He is a former parliamentary candidate, a past Board Member of the Welsh Conservatives and Chair of North Wales Conservatives and former director or board member of a wide range of organisations including Tourism Partnership North Wales, Groundwork (North Wales), Clwyd Theatr Cymru, the Benefit Advice Shop and the Climate Change Commission Wales,
